Head of Research Line E
The objective of the Research Line E is the development and clinical application of innovative models of intervention for the rehabilitation of patients with neurological diseases. These include spinal cord injury and stroke, multiple sclerosis, head injuries and cerebellar damage syndromes.
The research projects are dedicated to the collection of epidemiological data, the identification of prognostic factors and the study of the neurobiological mechanisms underlying the neurological recovery. Research also involves the development of innovative technologies and robotics for motor neurorehabilitation. Exoskeletons and brain-computer interfaces (BCI) are two technologies of particular interest for the Research Line E.
