Bioinformatics Lab
The Laboratory of Bioinformatics develops and uses computational approaches to the integrated analysis of high yield genomic data. In collaboration with the research group of Prof. Gianni Cesareni, at the Department of Biology, Tor Vergata University of Rome, the Lab studies systems analysis of muscle regeneration mechanisms.
The Laboratory has developed and is responsible for managing two databases that collect physical and functional information on the interaction between biological macromolecules. The databases have been certified as bioinformatics resources of European interest by the ELIXIR project, coordinated by the European Bioinformatics Institute.
